- Which version of Reason?

I downloaded the Trial version. Installed it. usage only in online modus is okay. Then i tapped the record button and clicked on LRN for the REST-Button and pressed a key on my Alesis Q61 MIDI-Keyboard. This broke down the rack. Could click any more in the rack and heard nothing. Close Reason and reopen reason.

Just jump here and say I’m running Reason 10.4 and the latest Windows 10 update and having no problems with Step.
Edit: that said, I haven’t tried recreating the example you described.
