Via his Facebook page: An update to Chip64 has just been released. The big change is that the filter code has been updated to reduce DSP load. The update is free.

yes!! I love the synth, but I rarely use it because it's such a DSP hog. Ochen is like the opposite of PH with his upgrades

I thought as well that this should make a lot of people who had complained about DSP usage! :)

It's possible he updated with SDK 2. Do you have Reason 7.1 or later?

SDK1 is no longer available to developers as a build option. All future devices and updates have to be SDK2.

I've added the remote map file to my dropbox folder, one strange thing it the Wave Knob has 5 different names, 1 for each Chip (this is probable for easier programing) this makes it hard to map it to only 1 knob.

i LOVE chip 64 ochen.  it's so gritty and authentic.  it's excellent as a synth in general, not just for "chiptune" style, although i admit i have a ton of nostalgia for the SNES and genesis....  but man.  it's raw!  it's great for layering with bass or leads.  peace, thanks for the update
