Charlotte as a ducking sidechain

A few quick tests here a JPHQ, and I'd recommend using the release stages only in your scenario.

Try hooking a ReDrum kick Gate Out to Charlotte's Sequencer Gate In.

Then connect Charlotte EG1 out to SubT Amp Level CV In.

Program the ReDrum kick on the beat and play the SubT but with longer held notes.

The trick is that you need to use the release stages, as the gate signal for drums is (generally) not held for very long.

Adjust the values in the red box. Stage 7 will be the "recovery" speed from zero, stage 8 is the hold level, and stage 9 the release.

The above settings, if you hold down the key on the SubT, gives you a nice off-beat bass response to the kick.
