Which developers would you still like to see developing Rack Extensions?

This forum is for discussing Rack Extensions. Devs are all welcome to show off their goods.

Before coming back to Reason, I had spent a good few years in Reaper and one of my favourite plugin devs was Antress Modern. http://antress.blogspot.co.uk/
All free vst's but I thought they sounded as good as they looked. One of the main things that drew me to them at the time was how simular they looked to Reason devices.

The GUI on these things is almost perfect to slip right into the
reason rack with very little work needed:-

I would love to see some of these ported over.

I'd like all of them to develop for RE...
But on a more serious note I don't really know a lot of what's out there, because I can achieve almost everything I need with what I have. I struggle with orchestra sounds though, so I'd love to see some nice symphonic instruments REs.
Cheers!

I wouldn't mind seeing a verb from valhalla. TSAR is just too much and though I like (and am buying) the synapse, I'll miss being able to do those big huge spaces.

YES. Xfer - Serum! God I want this in Reason, or someone else's version of wave-table synthesis. But most importantly, being able to import your own samples. I've been trying to figure out how they made the "Harvester" mechanical sounds from Terminator Salvation for years now, and as soon as I came across some demos of Serum I realized that sounds just about as close as it gets. I LOVE that sound of being able to sweep through the waveform slowly, and bend, squeeze and manipulate it. Very cool stuff.

It also made me realize that is probably why I have always loved the Maelstrom so much - because that is basically what is meant by "graintable" synthesis (correct me if I'm wrong). Even before I understood what the Maelstrom what doing, I knew I loved the way it sounds and that it has a very unique character.

Of course, one of the ongoing complaints I've seen pop up about REs among the community is the inability to load samples. But what I don't understand is that some recent REs DO have samples, like Republik, just not user loadable samples. There is much I don't understand.

It's exactly that. REs can use samples, but they have to be baked into the RE that you download. The Radical and A-list series are two examples, and the whole IDT is based on that idea. But up to this point there's no way to load user provided samples.

So someone could build a Malström clone that has a different set of graintables, but not still not load custom tables. What a developer can't built at this point is an NNXT clone.

Well, I said valhalla in the last post and that would be good (and quite frankly, logical) but I'd also like to see something from "slate"

I realize this is probably NOT going to happen, but something like the VCC would be really nice. Something that "opens" the range up a little.

Synth wise, I think I'm set for life. A couple of RE's look interesting, but by and large it's already in the bag.

I do wish that there was something like "synapses" EQ that wasn't quite so much OR that it had more bands. This is likely the point where "fabfilter" comes into the equation ;)
