Yes, but you should post your Reason song file in the following sub-forum instead:aRiver wrote:YesNoel G. wrote:By source material, are you referring to your Reason song file?aRiver wrote:

Noel, I have a question:
due to cpu issues, can I make part one of a song in one reason file, export as audio, than part two in second reason file, export audio again, and than merge those two audios in third reason file and export as final audio? Of course, providing all reason files (part one, two & final)

I used The Legend for everything. I added some e-guitar and a Rex drum patch to complement the existing The Legend kicks and snares, otherwise, it's as it says on the box. The 80's is back baby! Hope you like it.
Heya, here's is my entry. The Legend provides all synthsounds, fx and some of the percussion.
To another fun competition and good luck to everyone participating.
ps Hopefully you enjoy this tune and you won't be falling asleep while listening.

Here is my first entry. All sounds, including drums, are generated by the Legend synth.

Jeez Noel, I feel lame asking this, but does that mean some of the rx2 loops that load into octo-rex are not cleared for use by PH or the sound designers and are considered under copyright? The specificity confused me...Noel G. wrote:Welcome to Reasonistas and Synapse Audio's The Legend Synthesizer Song Challenge.
No copyrighted material (Note: Breakbeat samples from the Factory Soundbank ARE cleared for use according to Propellerhead Software)
If so, is there a list hidden somewhere on PH site of what is cleared to use??
Thanks!

No, we are saying the exact opposite of this. All factory sound bank samples have been cleared for use.swamptooth wrote:Jeez Noel, I feel lame asking this, but does that mean some of the rx2 loops that load into octo-rex are not cleared for use by PH or the sound designers and are considered under copyright? Hey there - I am re-submitting a remixed, cleaner, slightly more produced and tidied up version. Please substitute this track over my previous version if that is ok?
As before everything is The Legend, I used 15 in all. even the Vocoded voice is through The Legend. I substituted Kong for Rex drums, so i could better control the 80's vibe with some sweet claps. Hope you enjoy. Thanks.
