Metalazer variable filter as metallizer effect transforms ordinary audio into textured, metallic-sounding layers.
The effect primarily works by combining filtering, modulation, and resonances that emphasize higher frequencies, giving the sound a sharp, industrial edge. Producers found this effect particularly useful in electronic music genres, sound design, and creating futuristic soundscapes.
From atmospheric sweeps to aggressive, distorted tones, the Metalazer became a go-to tool for adding complex tonal variations, ideal for artists looking to push their sonic boundaries. Its unique way of manipulating audio signals has inspired the creation of new plugin designs, pushing further the potential for both subtle enhancements and radical transformations of sound.
Metalazer offers an advanced toolkit for transforming your sound into a metallic, modulated audio landscape. Whether you’re aiming for subtle tonal shifts or want to dive into wild, futuristic textures, Metalazer provides the flexibility and depth needed for creative sound manipulation.

So I noticed that even with the LFO set to OFF, the LFO Amount still affects the sound.
I had the LFO Amount set to 100% when I had turned the LFO off and was wondering why changes to any of the other parameters was not affecting the sound at all. I had to also set the LFO Amount to 0%

Hello, joeyluck
Thank you for this info
Yes, LFO On/Off deactivate LFO functionality, but Amount is a modulation depth of Central Frequency (if Amt = 100%, Central Frequency is always = max). And here we have problem that LFO is turned off, but modulation level of Central Frequency can be still set by Amt.
BPF is placed after CombFilter.
And if Amt = 100% (Central Freq = 25 kHz), you can hear bandpass filter band at high frequency only, and changes at Comb Filter usually not listened at high BPF freq values.
So yes, easy to fix, and I already make update (1.0.2) now.
With new upcoming update (soon), LFO On/Off start to enable/disbale modulation Amount parameter too. As it must be in release version.
Sorry for this moment.
Update is coming to shop fast as possible from RS approve side.
