Great interview! ‘No coding experience’ ... ... could have fooled me! That’s fantastic! I took a look at the SDK and my eyes glossed over, then popped out of my head, lol.

Well, not entirely true... i did code some simple html way back around the millenium shift and a tiny bit of LUA when building the mcdsp REs with the 3D tool required for RE creation at the time.. But yeah - more or less no code knowledge - so just had to dive in deep and learn on the way. It's a lot of pieces to wrap your head around, but once you've started it's very rewarding to be able to construct own devices!

I bet! I’ve done some HTML, CSS, C# so have some coding experience but even then... my hat is off to anybody that can make software! Just impressed that certain people can stick with it and reap the rewards.

Just picked this up for MM, $19. Insane filter, mix it in with the delay and the gritty input? Sweetness! Just wish it had some kind of noise option for some real lo-fi vibes.

Also the other vintage filters are $9 each or $19 for the HPLP. Gave that a trial but I feel like this RE has a bit more to it for me..

What sort of noise are you looking for? The filter suite is awesome by the way. Only filters I use these days and I’ve got a lot :). The HP is brilliant.

Just some staticy hissy noise of some kind to add an extra bit of texture .. I know some people really don't like it, but I love when tape/delay plugins have that sort of option available. I know it's usually on plugins which are trying to capture the specific sound of vintage analog hardware and maybe it doesn't make sense in this case, but I find I throw a bit in here and there all the time. I personally never use pristine, clear delays.

Oh and putting it IN the feedback loop would be cool.

These are pretty cool for hissy static.

Small 1.2.0 update out today; Added an output level switch, makes it easier to lower the output and instead crank up the input for more grit in tube and digi modes.

I´m still busy on a track. (have Industralizer and watch out for Wavemaster)
But when it´s done i would give a subscription month a try to get the whole analog studio setup form Eksperimental.

Your Ideas of RE´s have a very nice philosphy,
