Favorite Reverb RE?
Synapse fat space, Dr-1 and Softube TSAR
The RV7000 still tends to be my go-to. Although I second Zac: Synapse Fat Space is great as are both of Softube's offerings (especially the TSAR-1).. Rob Papen's unit is great too but admittedly I rarely use it (due in large part to nothing more than my familiarity with the other units lol).

Dropped the large bucks for Tsar back when it came out and haven't really checked out much else mainly because I dropped the large bucks for Tsar back when it came out. The upgrade to RV7000 that allowed impulse loading was helpful as well.
Who’s using the royal plural now baby? 🧂
Rv7000, Dr1 Space Verb hands down!

No problem Mr. Figg! Happy to hear all suggestions.
For REs it's
* TSAR if I want it to sound realistic
* AD 480 or RP Verb if I'm feeling experimental
* Synapse DR-1 for deep space
VSTs I like to use: Valhalla Shimmer, Soundtoys Little Plate, Waves Abbey Rd Plates/Abbey Rd Chambers and that EMT 140 emulation that Arturia released before xmas - it's free, it's fucking awesome and highly recommended if you haven't grabbed it yet https://www.arturia.com/company/press/p ... oreveryone
Reverbs I'm still getting to know: NI Raum and, weirdly enough, RV 7000. I've never found it particularly easy to get the results I want from RV 7000 but am giving it some extra attention because it's got tons of features and maybe I'm missing out on something great...?

RV7000 is a go to in the Rack. I love it. Get's the job done.
I also love Animus Shimmer for more ambient out there stuff.
Have some love for Unfiltered Audio's Renoun as well.
I've never tried Rob Papen's RPVerb Effect. Any thought s on this one?

Dang, looks like that Arturia offer expired on Christmas! What a shame. Looks awesome .dvdrtldg wrote: ↑22 Jan 2020

Thanks for the other recommendations! I'm a big fan of the Waves/Abbey Road collaborations. Haven't tried the plates or chambers myself yet, although our mix engineer did use the plates quite a bit on my folk group's first record. Luscious.

Have some love for Unfiltered Audio's Renoun as well. So do i, i think it is a very under rated Verb
Allowing for VSTs, my default workhorse reverb is the Eventide SP2016. It's simple to use with minimal amount of controls and helps sit sounds in the mix really well.
Oh man, do yourself a favor OP and buy both Synapse reverbs, he has us totally covered -- Fat Space for short / rooms and Deep Reverb (DR-1) for long washes / deep space verbs.
With both, you're totally set for every kind of space needed. I still use RV7000 as well, it's great, and with all three together, I can't imagine Reason needing anything else, personally.

I know it's not an RE, but it's still my favorite. It's just a great sounding reverb and it's so versatile, even more so after they included the ability to load impulse responses. I am, of course, talking about RV7000 MkII. It's held up really well over time.
Not including instruments that have reverb effects you can use on external devices, I only have 3 dedicated reverb REs (DR-1, TSAR-1R, MarsPeaks) and I rarely use them. I just find RV7000 to be superior in almost every instance.
