Gross Beat / Halftime

Hey what's up. I was just wondering if there is an RE equivalent to FL's Gross Beat or the Halftime plugin? Haven't seen anything in the prop shop that does what these devices do but maybe I'm just not seeing it. I've been noticing more and more trap / modern hip hop producers switching to Reason lately (via youtube / instagram) and I think if a developer can create an RE that rivals Gross Beat or Halftime for the Reason rack it would do quite well. I will probably end up buying the vst anyways but I always prefer to have an RE due to the ease of automating parameters. Thanks

Just wanted to add that Halftime (vst) is available for a free (unlimited time) trial on their website. The only catch is you can only have one instance open at a time and the settings are not saved when you close your project. I will be purchasing soon but this will suffice for now. Anyways, still interested in an RE alternative if it is ever made! *Hint* RE devs

Also, just realized that you can actually save the settings on the free version IF you create automation lanes for each setting. Just wanted to share this discovery. Thanks

Not exactly the same thing obviously, but it can get you there depending on what you need.

Hey thanks for your repsonse. I do have glitch already though I'm more after the time stretching and warping fx used in a lot of modern day trap music; such as the weird musical textures heard in Rich the Kid's "Plug Walk". I will however demo the other 2 RE's that you've suggested. I've heard great things about both Fritz and Distillery so I look forward to checking these out as well. Thanks!

Been messing around with the Murder Rhythm Cutter and am really enjoying this awesome device. Although it's not really the same as Gross Beat or Halftime, I am still happy with this product and it's possibilities and I look forward to owning in the future. I think the way it's set up makes it very straight forward and intuitive to use, but it definitely takes time to get desired results. I don't own any Turn2on devices besides the Blackpole synthesizer, but I will definitely be looking at your other fx devices in the future. Turn2on, if you have the time to check out Gross beat or Half Time (free trial) and consider making an RE equivalent or better, I would be very thankful. Gross Beat has become very prominent in Trap production and I think it would be easy to market to Reason users if you can promote it as such and possibly add some features that make it even better. I think what makes the plugin so useful to producers is it's immediacy in creating different textures and how these textures can help create different sections of a track. Thanks
