RePlay/ReCode - fully remoteable devices for scripting

I've been hitting a probable showstopper where I had timeing issues due to the nature of how midi group switching works.

I found a workaround which kind of works, but hasn't been satisfying. So I got back to the drawing board thinking about my initial approach, where I wanted to use sysex to control the devices, but couldn't get there.

I have a proof of concept now, where I can control up to 127 devices (which could be a little bit resource hungry ... also probable up to 16383) with up to 16383 controls. At the moment with 8 bit resolution (the typical 0-127). But I will increase this to 14 bit resolution later.

I just have to figure out how to do the output handling manually over sysex.

Some good and some bad news. Bad news ... I got some distraction. Good news... Here is the result of it:

A sneak peak of a prototype for my RePlay codec companion app for iOS and Android. In addition to the remote infos, we would need screenshots of all the devices.
