Well it does say "powered by the sounds of the Minimoog Voyager" and "based on the sounds of the Minimoog Voyager" on the back panel, which I was surprised they were able to place on the product itself.EnochLight wrote: ↑26 Jan 2018I said this on FB and I'll say it here: this is probably one of the nicest looking RE's to appear in a very long time - nice work Pink Noise! Also, it appears to be SDK 2.5 with changeable panels for the insert effects modules - sweet!
I wonder if this is generating oscillators via DSP "on the fly" or is it a ROMPLER?
Agreed this RE is beautiful! I'm gonna go ahead and say best ever.EnochLight wrote: ↑26 Jan 2018I said this on FB and I'll say it here: this is probably one of the nicest looking RE's to appear in a very long time - nice work Pink Noise! It must be a rompler style of synth, look at the oscillator section in the bottom right. There is a sample start positionEnochLight wrote: ↑26 Jan 2018I said this on FB and I'll say it here: this is probably one of the nicest looking RE's to appear in a very long time - nice work Pink Noise! Indeed. I suppose they were involved in Layers https://shop.propellerheads.se/rack-extension/layers/
I'm assuming the "Interpolation quality" switch is to improve the sample quality of its waveforms used (just like the legacy "high quality interpolation" button on the old NN19, NNXT, and Redrum at the expense of CPU), but yeah - that Polyphony knob is likely to ease back on CPU use as well. Nice touch!
Totally missed that this was based on a refill they have. Question: does it come with the same amount of presets as the refill?tobypearce wrote: ↑27 Jan 2018Overall - very impressive and very useable indeed. It also sounds just as good as the original refill did.
That's because it isn't. Analogue Monsters doesn't include Voyager and their website doesn't list a Voyager refill.EnochLight wrote: ↑27 Jan 2018Totally missed that this was based on a refill they have.tobypearce wrote: ↑27 Jan 2018Overall - very impressive and very useable indeed. Interesting. I wonder what tobypearce is referring to?Italophile wrote: ↑28 Jan 2018That's because it isn't. Analogue Monsters doesn't include Voyager and their website doesn't list a Voyager refill.
