There's a lot more waveforms being created, and there's more oversampling going on than Snakebite.

There may be some space for optimising a bit in the future with the newer SDK features - I didn't include them in V1.0 as CPU wasn't an issue on my PC, but will do some investigation when I have a bit of spare time (or get sick of Fallout 4  )

Synth was originally called Megasaurus - but there's a big scary car eating robot dinosaur with that name - and I didn't want any trouble (legal or otherwise!)

So Jurassic is fitting :)

Yes, I was inspired by our new little dino friend :)
Kind of want it on a t-shirt or a sticker to put on my laptop!

I don't have a huge issue except a couple of presets and they are harmless. It's not like some of the mixfood stuff or that 31 band eq that is "WTF" in the CPU department. Better than softube (which are my hungriest plugs) and more on-par with the built in stuff CPU wise here.

I did have a play with the code a bit, and there is some space for optimising the filters (the left and right filters can run at the same time on the CPU). I need to ensure that these optimisations don't sacrifice audio quality before going ahead with the changes.

Thank you, for checking up on this! :)

Will have to look into this synth before the sale is ending... Sounds very promising!

But as I saw this, I feel my rendering-fingers tingling. Maybe this weekend I´ll sprout this out.
I've put some of Nirude's fantastic renders on-line at:

We're planning a competition based upon this theme soon - I will update this thread when more details are available.

Naa - it's leftovers from Snakebite - we bought too much of it!

Two random dudes bumped in to each others, they were rivals. Random dude number one started to complain. Random dude number two was calm like a hurricane in New Orleans. They talked big and one had to be bigger than another. Soon number one said: "I have a Tyrannosaurus Rex at my office". Then number two said he has a Megasaur in his office. Number one was quiet and said: "There is no Megasaur, duh." Two continued: "yes there is and I have two of them." After a long stare to the eyes, number one said: "Whatever" and continued his walk.. But little did number one know, number two really had two Megasaur-units at his office.

Wow - you've rendered the DLD Technology office almost perfectly..

(except it's too big, too clean and not full of ****)

Here's a new track where I've used Megasaur quite a bit.
It's used at:

0:12 Pad/Chords
0:23 Pad/Chords
0:35 Synth Lead Melody
0:56 Organ like Lead
1:54 Short Filter Sweeping Synth

I like this synth. Very easy to get new sounds that I haven't got from other synths before.

I'm gonna rebump this thread.
I've only used Megasaurs for this song.
It might be a simple and limited synth but you can get some pretty cool sounds with this thing.

Just a bit offtopic etc - I bought a new plugin for 3dsmax and had to try it with some rendering.

God damn, every time I see a render you did, I'm always wondering how much time does it take to render those things because they look so gorgeous. Anyways, top-class work from you, as always!
