technically even sysex is possible as in a deeper remote codec you can send all kinds of midi messages eg to light up pads, entire base configurations, sysex-text strings. And you can receive them. Maybe time to get my Korg Prophecy out of the closet.
One problem though with all the external stuff is bidirectional communication. EG when you change a patch, do the knobs on the combinator move. Most external gear does not send its parameters.
But nevertheless this is a very nice use of the new combinator.

How can sysex be shipped? Where is that information?, thanks

It would not be going out through the Midi Out Device but via the Out Port of a Midi Codec. Pretty much like a codec sending the midi to eg move a motorized fader or a sysex encoded string to show a patchname on a Push it could just aswell send a sysex to control a parameter. As i said this would require some deeper codec programming but it is possible. You need the free Remote SDK.
