Ok so maybe a dumb question but lets say i load up a kong kit in RRP.
Now i want to play certain kong pads with certain pads on my edrums.
Lets say i want to play pad 4 with the my drum tom 1 pad.
Any quick way to do this?

Not in Kong but I think Tonerows player does this or if not Robotic Bean's TM-1 would work.

Yea i figured i needed an intermediary between the drums and kong, figured it out.
Mapped ut with bomes midi translator.
I could theoretically do it from the edrums itself, but its better to do it with a translator.
You have the option to have multiple assignments ready, and you can select whichever you want.
For example i can have tom one mapped to pad 12 and 15 for example and keep it in the translator.
And turn on whichever pads i want to trigger and turn the other assignments off.
I think note assignment to drum pads should be built into kong.
