Redrum + Logic bug?

While playing the Redrum device:

In Reason:

As it has been from the beginning, when you select a new pattern it switches on the next bar.

In Logic:

When you select a new pattern it switches right away and gets out of sync

Has anyone else experienced this? I just downloaded the latest update (11.3.2d2).

I've noticed this too. The same thing happens with Dr. Octo Rex, where loops are always triggered immediately.

I did report it - the ticket is currently stalled. Other's should submit as well perhaps?

I think it has improved from when I originally reported it but I've since switched to doing all sequencing in Logic and don't use Redrum, Matrix, etc. anymore. (Note, my original post is from over a year ago)

As far as I can tell, this still isn’t fixed in R12–at least not for Dr. OctoRex.
Hopefully some improvements to RRP are coming in a point release.

Maybe it's a limitation of Logic? I seem to recall RS mentioning something in the support ticket I opened about that but I've forgotten the details... It would be interesting to try this in another DAW.

It happens for me in Bitwig too (which uses VST, not AU). So it's seemingly not a Logic or AU issue.
