Struggling to download REs after new laptop install

Hi All.
I have upgraded my laptop (Macbook pro) and have download the latest SDK, which I installed Recon from.
When I run Recon and log in, it tries to open companion and asks me to install that.
After I installed Companion and entered my login it says I do not have a subscription, evem though my "products" shows Recon on the reason web site.
I remember it used to use something called "authorizer" to do this in the past, is there any way to force the latest recon to use that instead of companion?
