More Players, A.I. Generators, please

Have any feature requests? No promise they'll get to Reason Studios, but you can still discuss them here.

I love these things - very inspirational, just hours of fun noodling about with; takes me off in a hundred different directions, etc. Would like more generative players, with an emphasis on melodic generation - sense-making, interesting chord structures, and tuneful melodies. Generative players can often sound too random and discordant without basic tweaking - how about a player that always manages to stay in tune, and always suggests immediately useable combinations of chords and melodies by default? Less of the meaningless 'noise' type, more of the gorgeous, chilled, ambient type.

I dunno, Quad Note Generator is wonderful, for instance, but takes some work to get something tuneful. Should be far more immediate, far more instantly useable.

Anyway, I know plenty of people are not fans of players in general. But I am (they make my life easier, they are idea-starters), so I'm asking for more in Reason Studios in this vein.

For me, QNG isn't the best choice for melodic generation because it can't produce repeatable results - it's 100% random within the confines of the parameters, unless I use the Freeze function. I gravitate to Players like Evolution, Life, BLG, Pearls and Pattern Mutator because they can produce repeatable results and they allow for melodic shaping (either manual or automatic).

They definitely need more players and A.I type tools. There are a ton of new tools out there from companies all over the place asking for subscription fees. I see this as a opportunity for any DAW company to look at the many A.I tools and duplicate in Reason putting all in one place. Studio One 7 is a pretty nice Update and even Cubase are adding modulators like in Bitwig and Ableton. It also seems like there will have to be consolidation of the DAW market, not sure how all these companies are making real money. S1 Presonus/Fender, Cubase Yamaha may get money from other parts of their businesses.
