There's already a hand tool in the sequencer that pans the view, but imagine if it was automatically activated by holding the middle mouse button.
And imagine if the rack could be panned from anywhere by holding the middle mouse button, instead of clicking the wooden rails.
Perhaps even the mixer could benefit from this.
Having used this feature in other software, I'm constantly missing it in Reason.

I use a trackpad so I can't relate. I don't know how mouse users manage
If I weren't on a MacBook, I'd probably use a separate trackpad, maybe a magic mouse, but probably a trackpad.
That said, one thing that I might find better with a mouse is zooming. The zooming has greatly improved even on a trackpad, but I bet using the scroll wheel to zoom in the timeline is pretty great? I do own a mouse, so maybe I'll try!
