Remove requirement to click on the note before resizing it

This must be one of my biggest "issues" with Reason!

Every other DAW just lets you hover over the left or right border of the note and when the handle appears just resize it from there. In Reason, you need to click the note first to see the handles, then click + drag to resize:

Alternatively, add keyboard shortcuts to change note length.

I wouldn't go that far. Probably they don't see it as a problem. Many people just record themselves playing, others use sequencer devices and many just got used to it. I often see videos (not only for Reason) where people do some really sub optimal stuff - my "favourites" are navigating and zooming around project with scroll bars, using right-click menus when shortcut or gesture is available, doing Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V instead of Ctrl+D - because they don't know any better, or even don't care.
