Octave transpose on Matrix

I've literally been wanting to request this for about 20 years. In fact in general it's always surprised me how out of reach octave transposing is across Reason, because going through any batch of presets of any kind they are never standard, even often from the same sound designer a load of e.g. bass sounds will have some that are too high and then when you go down the octave the next presets are way too low, so I'm always going up and down octaves, and Matrix is one device that it comes up a lot on, and I still love it after all this time

Of course, it's not as quick as having a transpose feature on the Matrix, but it works. If not wanting to use players and just wanting to use CV, there are some other CV utilities you could probably use to transpose the output from the Matrix...

If you're big on Matrix, you should check out Robotic Bean's excellent Step sequencer. It's like Matrix on steroids, with all the features that Matrix lacks, including step input, realtime MIDI transpose, conditions, probabilities, ratcheting, scale quantize, playback directions, and of course a general transpose option (up or down 4 octaves).

Note View is also a great transposer, either for static octave/semitone offsets or controlled by CV (which can produce very interesting results). This means you can also control it from a live input or any sequencer allowing musical interaction.
