Wiring between devices becomes progressively more tedious as the rack grows.
What if we had the ability to decouple adjacent racks? Scroll to the top of left rack, and to the bottom of the right rack. Connect a cable horizontally across the rack ears and the connection snaps into place.
Even better, what if the left and right rack views were simply instances? Meaning both the left and right views could be of the same rack. This would allow connecting cables and moving devices from different places in the project very quickly.
Of course, some users may prefer the classic rack, so it would be good to have the option.

You can right click on a jack and get a popup menu of all the possible sources or destinations. If you know where you want to patch the cable, this eliminates the need for scrolling.

The right-click menu works well for smaller projects, but once there are hundreds of devices nested inside of Combinators and Insert FX, the menu becomes unwieldy pretty quickly.
Individual scroll would be useful.
So would having application zoom assignable to mouse wheel (plus a modifier like Shift or something)
Zoom way out to patch cables and then zoom straight back out to keep working on the synths.
