I like to save different versions of my songs whenever I make major changes in case I need to revert. But I end up with a lot of files.
Save & optimize can cut down some files by 60%, but if you don't do it all the time you end up with large files. And if you want to shrink files later you have to wait for all your vsts to load.
So to speed it up they should make a simple batch tool - open the song optimizer, select a file or directory, and reason does what it needs to do without having to load up vsts or open songs - just scans the file and strips out whatever the optimizer strips out.
