Speed and pitch of track tape style

I use reason for putting tracks together. If I need to change the overall speed and pitch of a song then I have to export it to GarageBand. The reason I do this is because it is a pain in the hole to take clips and put them into a sampler and speed them up. After 20 years Propellerheads should be able to figure out a simple pitch goes with tempo setting! You can do it in GarageBand. You can do it in Ableton. You can take the track and bring it over to audacity. Why can’t reason do this?

It can, in two steps. Change clip length by Ctrl(win)/Cmd(mac)-dragging at the end of the clip or change tempo. Then change the pitch with Transpose:

I agree that this would be a nice feature. I can do this now with loop in Grain but it would be good it if were possible in the sequencer also.
