Why is Recycle still standalone?

It would be nice, if they at least added it to the subscription package so if people just want to do a few jobs then they just pay for a month of it.

How much would you be willing to pay per month?

Would they need to increase the subscription cost to include software they've not developed for over 20 years, doesn't support Apple Silicon, but they've mostly integrated into Reason anyway?

There's a time for nickel and diming. Recycle is not it.

No, as Rex2 is still a closed format where Recycle/Reason remains the only software that can author those files. For implementing the playback part there is a library supplied by RS that third parties can use to implement it.

I thought Live could use rex files but maybe I am wrong.
It's been awhile since I opened live 10 suite.

Not wanting to boast but I have boxed copies from 4 to 11 including Record and Balance, I have a boxed copy of Recycle, Abbey Road Keys, Reason Pianos and the Rhythm Combo.
My dream is do have a shelf to house them all.

i love recycle so much but its definitely been left to die a slow death.

Why? You can do everything with Reason, also creating rex loops.

Except you can't see anything in tiny rex player. It's pretty barebones but at least it's full screen.

Rex Player has nothing to do with creating rex files and ReCycle is for creating rex files. Or did i understood something wrong?
