Existing:
1. Select 2 midi notes (or chords) - one later than the other in sequencer timeline.
2. Drag left arrow to shorten second one (i.e. move it's start position whilst retaining its end position)
3. Both midi notes shorten in the same way - the START position moves.
(4. Shift-drag does nothing different.)
I'd like to be able to do this:
1. Select 2 midi notes (or chords)- one later than the other in sequencer timeline.
2. Shift-drag left arrow to shorten later one (i.e. move it's start position whilst retaining its end position)
3. Later midi note has its start position moved, but earlier note has its END position moved, thus maintaining the distance between the 2 notes.
Practical use:
Move midi notes in timeline whilst keeping legato.
Benefits:
At present to move one note a keep legato with the earlier one, you have to do two steps, first moving the later note, then stretching (or shortening) the previous one.
Enhancement to MIDI editing two notes together

This would be fantastic, I've often wished for this exact feature.
