Dr Rex is a perfect device for configurable tempo

Have any feature requests? No promise they'll get to Reason Studios, but you can still discuss them here.

Imagine if you had a tempo knob on DR REX. then you could easily slow a loop down to half time or double time on the fly

Seems like forever ago I stopped asking for a “resolution” control for Dr OctaRex, like on Matrix or ReDrum. Seems to have fallen on deaf ears, so I just do it the “hard” way: send loop data “to track”, “half time” the clip, the drop the pitch on Dr OctaRex by an octave if I’m going for the full “half time tape” effect.

It works fine until you want to try a different loop, and have to repeat the process… ;(

Yup that's the workflow right now. I like to work at double tempo for some step sequencer benefits, and frequently find myself bouncing to track, f8, double tempo or half tempo, then you're forced to work in the reason sequencer which isn't that bad but kind of screws up your flow
