Feature Request- ability to disable automatic VST folder scan when Reason is started (or, manually trigger VST scan)

For me personally, 99% of the time I open Reason, I have not installed any new plugins or VSTs. It is painful to sit and wait while the Reason app slowly scans all of my VST folders. And worse, this frequently causes a "blue screen of death", and then the next time I open Reason it gives me an error that some plugins weren't loaded correctly. Then if I restart, it finds everything and no blue screen happens. But I would much prefer the ability to manually trigger a refresh of the VST library from within Reason, instead of being forced to wait each time I start it up. This feature would improve my quality of life, anyway.
