When you create an automation point in the lane, it ends up wherever you double left clicked (or alt + left click) What I'd like is to be able to shift+ double left click to set automation point at the "static" value shown in the image below.
The current workaround right now is just left clicking the "value" and changing it there, but if you ask me it's a PITA doing that over and over and over. Or am I just stupid and missing something?

Good idea. I generally go for the line on the clip and click that but it's kind of a guess eh. I also wish they'd change the readings on automation to match the reading it's actually reading like if you automate a fader on the Main Mixer, instead of reading in dB it reads 0-1000.

I also wish they'd have a keyboard shortcut to show / hide the automation lanes. I vote the A key like Logic. Also, in the preferences, have a preference to where you want the automation to be placed. Below Device / Clip, Within Clip, Bottom of Sequencer.
