Vst in ableton vs reason

So I have. Been toying with my old copy of ableton 9 and I noticed a crazy difference of performance with vst. Not just in the cpu department but also in smoothness of moving knobs

I think Reason has a slight lag when moving a knob inside of Europa or serum
I noticed that Europa was kind of the same, but serum inside of ableton worked very nice. There was absolutely no latency or lag when moving knobs

Is this something that will be addressed in the vst update? Also the graphics with serum moved way smoother as well. Everything ran and looked smoother

It’s as if ableton runs at a higher Frame per second, idk for sure but it sure feels that way. Can someone let me know if this is true or just a difference between ableton and Reason
