new advance combinator 8x8

Have any feature requests? No promise they'll get to Reason Studios, but you can still discuss them here.

The combinator is long over due an update, so why not introduce an advance combi that has 8 banks of 8 rotaries and buttons with 8 CV in/out ports. It could even have 8 switchable keyboard roots inside the combi rack. The Dr Rex got an octo added (Dr Octo Rex), a while back, so why not expand the combi to the 8x8 control option. Many MIDI controllers can support 8x8 controls like BCR2000 or Launchpad, push and more. Adding an advance combi can allow for much greater control over multiple devices with a single track focus, great for live performance or full hands-on control across many devices in a single combi patch.
My thinking is to have 64 remotable items for rotaries and 64 remotable items for buttons plus 8 buttons to switch between each set of 8 controls visible on the device. Then if there were a further 8 buttons for keyboard rooting with two modes of action, one being a single keyboard focus and as you select a different keyboard root the focus is switched. The other mode would be 8 toggles where you can root keyboard focus to one or more places up to the 8 roots. This tied in with 8 CV in/out ports instead of the current 4 CVs, will greatly expand the potential of macro based control available in a single patch.
It could allow for 8 sets of player devices on 8 instruments with multi-effects all controlled by one combi and one MIDI controller plus be saved in one patch. A total recall of a big sound in one box.
I know similar control can be managed with the aid of various REs, combis with a little routing and combi programing but it would be so cool to have it available out the box in Reason. Perhaps in 10.3? What's more, if introduced as a new device, you don't get any compatibility issues with existing combi patches.

There are actually around 3000000 threads about the Combinator and what it needs. The actual discussion is here:

thanks, will take a look, although I'm suggesting a new device based on the old combi but appreciate the link.
