Display zero crossing line in audio tracks

Every other digital audio software I've ever used has a thin horizontal line through the middle of each audio track that shows the "zero point" at which the audio is null or silent. This is essential for audio editing, because if you clip audio at a point where the wave is not null, you get pops, clicks and other unpleasant audio sounds. Anyone who has ever edited audio regularly knows this. It's part of the basic literacy of audio production.
The omission of this simple point of reference in Reason is beyond baffling to me. How can you reasonably expect to edit audio without this reference? Are PH dumbing down the software on purpose to encourage me to buy Recycle? If that's the case, shame, shame, shame on them.
