Will be re-reading the reason manual again for 9, some suggestions from what I've read so far.

midi and midi again.
1. internal midi routing (midi sends from sequencer tracks, direct midi record from instruments, vsti and cv)
2. smooth and non-discrete midi cc out by EMI (now it looks like ladders with time quantization)
3. finally midi record in loop mode with alt takes like audio record.
4. preview midi files in browser

Make the automation values the actual value of the instrument or effect etc. Not a different number that what is shown on the ssl or rack view.

For example 0.0dB is value 734 when automating gain. Please just show the actual dB instead. Anything else is going to ruin the work flow when you have to guess the correct value you want or already has been set but is shown differently in the automation lane..

Also update the sequencer to function more smoothly since it has been a bit wonky for a couple of years. Pretty please. For example make fixed shortcuts for audio editing so the editing modes doesn't override the first used editing tool like the slice editor. Right now if this happens clrt-e and double click opens slice editor at first but eventually gets locked to either pitch edit or comp edit. Imo just make double click the standard way to open slice editor in sequencer view and the other 2 by their own dedicated shortcut when the audio clip is highlighted.
