Please Props: Make recording disabled by default for new audio track

Or make it possible to control the policy through configuration.
I never remember to mute the microphone, and when I create a new audio track, the default is that it's record enabled and monitoring On by default.
Now that can kill my loudspeakers and almost me - For the n:th time I just had the speaker membrans reaching out for me with the intent to kill

You can turn off automatic monitoring.
In Preferences, under Audio, select 'Manual' as apposed to the default 'Automatic' for Monitoring.

Agreed. This should not be switched on by default. What a stupid move.
