Remote override by device

It would be nice when doing a remote override if there was a way to specify "apply to all devices of this type". Then I could map my controller on the fly for each type of device and save as a song template. This would be much simpler than trying to create a a Remote codec - end users could actually do it right in Reason. I've always found remote override kind of limited (for me) because it only maps to a single control on a single device on the rack.
