Multiple Mix Channels...Simple!

Have any feature requests? No promise they'll get to Reason Studios, but you can still discuss them here.

This is my idea for multiple mix channels in the rack.

Simple innit.

Not just that as well, a keyboard shortcut. Maybe ctrl/m when in the rack.

Obviously the boxes would look better but you get the gist!

So not only can you go into the first menu by right clicking a blank space within the rack, and select a mix channel (singular) that way, but you can also use the keyboard shortcut within the rack to make a mix channel, and also go into the menu, then Utilities, then Reason Devices, then pick 1 up to 10 mix channels in one foul swoop as shown in the pic I made. Brilliant. I would actually, thinking about it, if it were up to me, like to make a keyboard shortcut for multiple mix channels too. So say ctrl or cmd/m was to make 1 mix channel, then ctrl or cmd/m and then press 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 and so on, up to 9 would make 2-9 mix channels in one foul swoop, maybe even having ctrl or cmd/m and 0 for 10.

Not a bad idea at all, but Create Mix Channel followed by a few Cmd-Ds are all it takes for most needs. So my guess is that it wouldn't make enough of an improvement in the user experience to merit spending development time on when there are other things that require development time.

For me that's too many menus deep. I want them to add a Keyboard Shortcut for Create Mix Channel the same as Audio Tracks have. I rarely use Audio Tracks. Currently Cmd-T for Audio Tracks so why not Cmd-Shift-T for Mix Channels?

Cmd or ctrl/m would make more sense. Cmd or ctrl/m/2 for 2, cmd or ctrl/m/3 for 3 and so on. Cmd or ctrl/m/0 for 10 :-)

EDIT:- Cmd or ctrl/m/2 would'n't work would it, cause when you did cmd or ctrl/m it would create a mix channel. It would need to be cmd or ctrl/m for one mix channel, cmd or ctrl/2/m makes 2 mix channels, cmd or ctrl/3/m makes 3 mix channels etc etc.

This and also the ability to select inputs in chronological order on multiple channels simultaneously. Meaning I have a drumset to record and use 12 mics and want to automatically select inputs for each track. ProTools has a command like this and it's awesome.
Cheers!

Good tip with that cmd/d but still got to go into the menu to create the first mix channel. Sorry pedantic I know but quickness is crucial sometimes when time is of the essence.
