Feature Request - Midi Controller Setup

Have any feature requests? No promise they'll get to Reason Studios, but you can still discuss them here.

So my old Axiom-61 has 4 key zones, each of which can be assigned to separate midi channels.
What would really be cool is if I could turn on one of those zones, or more than one, and have each one assigned to a different instrument in the rack.
I think this might be doable with Advanced Midi settings, using midi buses, but I'm not sure.

What I suggest is that when you set up a midi controller in the Preferences section, it asks what type of controller and which midi input.
I suggest that it also would ask you which midi channel, with "OMNI" being an option.

I could then setup an Axiom on channel-1, 2, 3 and 4 on the same midi port.
Then I could lock different ones to different devices, or use one as a master, or whatever.

Also I could make the midi channel of my drum pads for example a separate channel, and lock that to a Kong.
Or make my slider section it's own channel and lock it to the SSL.

The options are vast here, and I think it would be very useful.
To me the Advanced Midi section with it's buses is complicated and awkward, so much that I've never utilized it.
This would be simpler and offer more flexibility.
