Maybe we're not talking about the same thing. What would be terrific is if you are in the sequencer and you double clicked on the track and it took you to the rack. The benefits are enormous! Not the least of being you could go to the effects/instruments.

I mean, in the rack there is a sequencer/mix option. In the mixer there is a rack/sequencer option. Why not?
