Request: Simpler Equalizer to the Mixer
I miss the old equalizer in the Mixer 14:2, it was simple and straight to the point. It would be great if they bring that simpleness back and maybe just enhance it a little like put in a low, mid and high. Here are two simple eqs that combined into the current main Reason mixer would be great.

Just put the thing in as an insert. Or use it instead of mix channels.
Also the SSL EQ has a shelving section, feel free to only use those or get one of countless rack extensions.

i honestly wish the EQ in the SSL had more options
i don't like how the mid bands don't get very narrow.

Right, it would be cool if there was a switch to have the eq go from straight SSL emulation, to something like pro Q or kiloheartz slice. Where the EQ can get actual surgical results.sleep1979 wrote: ↑25 Apr 2019i dont like how the point are set and you cant drag them where u wantscratchnsnifff wrote: ↑25 Apr 2019i honestly wish the EQ in the SSL had more options

I mean, I love the ssl as a whole, I find it much more fun than Ableton’s way of send effects, bussing, and other mixing stuff. But the eq could be a little better. To the props credit, tbey Did do everything else pretty spot on

I agree 100% with this. There is already a gluttony of choice. No need to bloat up the SSL.
The SSL is as simple as you want it to be. Low, Lo Mid, Hi Mid, and Hi knobs. You can very well just not touch the frequency knobs and Q if you wish.
I see the SSL EQs as more for broad adjustments. Even as if you'd made a song on a computer, and you had an analogue desk, and you routed the tracks to the desk, and did a final mixdown using the EQs and compression on board. You've already done your more extreme work, and the desk is the final touch.
