Ok, so it's processed pianos.

Nice. I don't own that.
You're right, of course. It was an experiment how far you could transform it from the usual piano sounds. If anybody is interested here are the patches I made (based off from the included "Haunted" patch):
FX_ProcessedPianos_more_Haunted.zip
So Mataya you're up to post a new challenge, if you want to.

No response yet, so I will try with another one:

SG-great-ver2.mp3

It shouldn't be a problem to recognize what type of sound generation it is :puf_bigsmile:

Yeah, it sounds wavetablish, but not sure. This one could be Vibro or Parsec even?

Not Europa, Vibro or Parsec :-)

It's not wavetable, but this is a good direction where to go  Now it should be more obvious based on this hint :D

One more example and focus on the articulation of the sound, especially high pitched notes :). Ordinary subtractive synth can't sound like this :)

It' got to be Malstrom, with effects of course. Graintable weirdness.

Not Malstrom, it has its own internal effects :)

But the "graintable" is even more close to the method how it produces the sound :)

Not Nostromo.

It has several modes how the source can be played back :)

Again the hints did it. I'll see if I can whip up something later today. If anyone else wants to go first that's ok too.

Here's one

Starting clues:

It's a Reason Studios instrument.
I've used external effects (reverb) for the example. It does have a reverb, but I didn't use it here.

Come to think of it, maybe I worded that wrong. Let's change that to say it's a stock instrument in Reason.

I got a 100% incorrect hit rate so far so looking to keep this up with a guess of Pangea

Nice to see I am staying consistent 😂

Looking forward to seeing what this is and if my guess was very close 😉

It’s not Monotone.

Another clue:
It very rarely gets talked about.

No but I would say both Pangea and ID8 aren’t too far off.

From the hints and sound it's most likely Klang.
