After the recent UJAM Virtual Bassist competition, we decided to try something new: ask the participants how they felt about the devices, and how they used them in their composition. Our friends Loque, macatalao, diminished, rare_shadow, Boombastix, Imaginary911, alterEe, sortitoutonsunday, deerstetmusic and Swedish Dude were kind enough to answer our questions; and the winner, Carly(PoohBear) went the extra mile by making a half-hour video where he not only goes into great detail into the song-making part of it (with lots of useful tricks!), but also demonstrates how he uses Magic in real time in the associated video.
