Everything from Mars Audio for $19 - website says $39 but the code xX$19-AllxX3 brings it down to $19

That's 45GB of samples - drum machines, rare synths, drones, found sounds etc, Mars Audio stuff is great

With coupon reduced to $ 9:

Code: Select all

xX$9-AllxX3
But you can hardly use all the samples. It's too much!

It seems to me the most optimal set of drums, it is ESSENTIAL WAV FROM MARS. The small size of the library, and nothing more.

Pretty new to using samples. It says it’s around 45gb. Can you specify which format you want to download or do you just have to download everything in one file. Is it possible to find and delete all the non-Reason formats afterwards? Thanks

That's great. Thanks for answering. Do they send you a dropbox download link or something after purchase? Or how does it work?

I bought this last year and I don't think I used one sample from it. I'm always attracted to bloat. I installed all formats. The world will not end if you pass on this.

I bought the full bundle 3 years ago for 20 euro or so.
Often used the drumsamples and the first year I got some new packs added (though it's not clear to me how that works).
Now for this small fee I purchased it again for all the new packs.
Did not use the synthsamples but I sure will try them cause with Reason I feel more inclined to do so.
I like the quality (and price).
Nowadays I hardly buy samples, don't even download free ones.
I guess I'm not alone in that.

Yeah there's something about the size of this thing that puts me off. I've got giant sample libraries from other places that I've barely touched

It’s only big because it’s so many different formats. Dig out the .wav files and the NNXT patches from the zips and you’re laughing. I only bought it for the Linn samples really but for my €8 I got another 44 sound packs and some of them are really cool. Loads of REX loops too. :)

They sound nice but nothing I don't already have.

I don't even use half the samples I've bought (must give them a go some time).

But yes, some nice synths patches and loops.

Even if you just download the 909, 808 and MPC60 packs, it's well worth $9/$19 unless you have loads of that sort of thing already. You don't NEED to download all of it just because you CAN. ;)

That’s true. Yes it is. :):):)
....and....do it anyway. Download them all. Oh yes I do :):):)

How does it compare to what's available, particularly in Refills such as Analogue Monsters and BitleyTM?

I like it. As I wrote earlier I got it primarily for the Linn drum samples. Analogue Monsters and Bitley are great refills. Can’t say anything against them. That said, they’re not $9.

I forgot to mention the SP 1200 pack and the LM1 pack...

The synth packs are a bit less useful to me, but good fun for dragging into TAL sampler and messing around. OLD SKOOL. ;)
