This info was hiding in the Softube Trident EQ Sale thread, but it really needs its own thread because it's the most insane Black Friday deal going

https://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-aud ... e&index=18

It's a while since I trialled the TubeTech Classic Channel, but from memory this is comparable. Maybe a little less obvious "character" than TubeTech, more of an all-round workhorse but just sounds beautiful. LA-2A style compressor (with a few added extras, very versatile) and a silky smooth non-surgical EQ. In fact I think the EQ is the star of this thing, still feeling my way with it but it absolutely slays on basses and can do wonderful things on a mix bus

You get each individual unit as well as the Grand Channel, i.e. the compressor and the EQ and the two combined)

Interesting...there are several big sales from Softube, but only in the USA
Softube purchases are strictly licensed for sales to customers in the USA only.
So...i have only two words for that, which i do not write down here...

By the way, Softube recently released the MK2 version of the Tube Tech channel, and coded it from scratch. Different Animal. Been demoing it and enjoy it as well. Sale price is around $250 bones tho. However, the Summit feels like your first true love... with all the benefits and none of the negatives. There's my analogy lol

I'm seriously still scratching my head on these two deals ( Summit / Trident )... I've searched all around the web and have never seen a Softube sale go this crazy. Did Musicians Friend make a major mistake, or did the plugin God's grant Us forgiveness for our musical sins??

Me too. Yeah never in life I thought it would be so cheap. Must be a mistake or I am dreaming still and need to wake up.

Had $10 in reward points from musiciansfriend making this only $9. That's a ridiculous deal. Thanks for pointing this out.

Looks like it's back up to 299 now - glad I got it while the deal was hot - or a fluke

Their website was totally non navigatable. I just could not manage to even push on the plugins and go to the page. I also tried VPN, but no sucess and several web navigators on different devices. You ppl are lucky who managed to put an order. Guess I don´t need another shiny EQ. :)

I had been waiting 5 days and then all the sudden I received a refund with no answer to why. I've emailed them asking why I received a refund but no reply.

Sweet, thanks for the reply with this info. At least some people got it for so cheap.
