I was eyeing this plug in that uses mic input as a midi controller to hum or sing notes into the sequencer. is there a way to do this in reason without this plugin? Probably not considering how expensive it is. Thank you ahead of time.

You could try it with Objekt or Neptune. Objekt can detect the pitch which can be send to CV, which could be recorded via s Player or MIDI loop back. Same for Neptune.

If you don't need live conversion of your voice you can also record it as an audio track and use the internal monophonic audio to MIDI conversion in Reason.
