Hey guys,
I have 3 different kicks spread across 3 slots in Mimic, with 3 switches on my Combinator to select one or the other (this part I know how to do, no problem). However, if we assume that my switch 2 is on (and therefore slot 2 of Mimic is active), is it possible that pressing switch 1 not only activates slot 1 but also turns off switch 2?
Thanks a lot for your help.

It sounds like you're wanting a radio button type behavior and that's one of the big missing pieces in the Combinator unfortunately (along with a stepped knob/slider)
Happy to be proved wrong though!

Not sure how you control the selected slot, but you can also use the key (or a knob or any other control) to control the Gain of the other slots. Just use a defined "Source Range" and set your "Min/Max" settings.

Hey Robert, I know there's no such thing in Reason, I was hoping for the CV wizards of the forum to help me with this.

Thanks for your reply.
That's what I did, actually. What I’m asking is purely cosmetic since what I’m trying to achieve works just fine; it just bothers me not to have one single button lit at a time.

So, you just want to have a toggle button? I know, there is some weird trickery with BV512, but i forgot how to do it...Yea, make a feature request at Reson Studios...HankHeeGaye wrote: ↑21 Mar 2025Thanks for your reply.

If you only have 3 radio options, a non-stepped Combinator knob is still pretty usable (Left, Center, Right).
I am guessing you're using 1 Mimic in Multi-Pitch mode, with the gain of each sample mapped via the Combinator buttons.
If you want to try using a Combinator knob, consider instead using 3 Mimics in the standard Pitch mode. This makes the routing easier to accomplish, because you can avoid messing with gain over CV. Instead, select between the Mimic devices using A/B 12 In Switch mapped to the Combi knob.

Thanks for the heads-up, this will be helpful for future Combinators, but for this one, I need buttons.Pepin wrote: ↑22 Mar 2025If you only have 3 radio options, a non-stepped Combinator knob is still pretty usable (Left, Center, Right).

Since there are no radio buttons in Combinators (as of Q1 2025).
The up side is you can combine samples now rather than being limited to one at a time…
