Any ideas why COPY LOOP TO TRACK ain't working anymore on Dr.OctoRex?
I've been working with it since men were in a cave lol!

You see, i only need a loop for the last 8 bars of my song, but the thing is playing as soon as i click on start from anywhere in the song.
So i need to remove everything, except for the last 8 bars in other words.
But nothing is showing up to remove the part i dont' want to hear?

What the heck am i doing wrong?
I hate getting old arghhhhhh hahahahahaha
It must a stupid thing that i've done a gazillion times.
Oh well...

Thanks

Copy Loop to track depends on where you set the L/R loop markers - did you check they were on the last 8 bars?
Otherwise you can right click on the patterns and Edit Automation, then just draw the pattern you want (1-8, probably 1) at the location you want (the last 8 bars) and thats the only place it will play.
Either way works, use the “to track” if you need to edit the notes, otherwise use the pattern. Make sense?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH thanks a lot to both of you!

1) Indeed, it depends on where you have put your markers as it won't copy to the tracks. Thanks Selig! Ok i had a few glasses of wine.... My bad!

2) BITLEY made me think that you have to DISABLE the ENABLE LOOP PLAYBACK, when he talked about the RUN/PLAY button.
