I know this will probably turn out a feature suggestion thread, but nonetheless, my main thought here is that we could help each other to get more inspired by sharing what we sometimes forgotten because we all get homely blind.
It can be small tricks, some cool YT video or something we just discovered in our way of navigating or arranging.
For instance, I saw on FB some guy sharing video-links where he shows the wonderful hidden gems of Kong Drum designer. How its NNXT mini can allow many velocity layers. I mean, that device is a beast!
And look at a device as DR. Octo Rex Loop player. So many creative ways there is to work with that, far beyond the default "boring" drumloop. Just decrease or rather increase the pitch of that loop, adjust a filter, envelopes, LFO's and use modwheel to play with, and wow, something more organic and interesting already. And one can put own rex files there and help fasten the flow.
And Mimic, wow, and...all the players. I mean this DAW is such a fun one to use. I use it as my main DAW, but just imagine being able to use these tools if want to do a collab because a friend has another DAW etc.
For me, personally, all kinds of suggestions or "what ifs" or any impatience to want to see even more be added to Reason, all that springs from the love of this DAW and I am quite sure that is true for most who can list suggestions how to improve Reason.
But let us share some renewed love for any device or workflow that you might have discovered despite years of having Reason installed. Maybe you just found a new cool way to use a filter on a synth or combine some devices for some unexpected results.

I could not find the Kong tutorial about creating multi-velocity-layers with round robins.PhillipOrdonez wrote: ↑21 Jun 2024Share the links! Let's make this thread a cool place to share stuff like that!
If someone know, they can share the link. I want to be able to go here and just get some instant inspiration from what people might be sharing. Sometimes I watch something and just get a "Wow", must remember that and then I forget.

There's a whole section of this forum for exactly this sort of thing, in case you weren't aware. It's a treasure trove of information.

OK, here's one:
I would quite often save a second copy of a finished song, and chaotically chop, copy and drag clips all over the sequencer regardless what type of track it lands on. I'd create lanes for random controls for all the devices and let automation clips land wherever chance took it.
Then I'd sit back and enjoy the messy chaos. In the mess there were always some incredible accidents, that I would then sample and move into the original song as fills and pads.
Some of the greatest fun I ever had with Reason. Try it! It does no damage and even inspires whole new ideas I'd never have imagined, and because all the original devices are there it almost always fits.

Great thread idea!
Just a recent one is to have a simple 'modular' type session - get a Subtractor, take the LFO 1 out and connect it to the Gate In and just go to town from there.
