How to Player add three octave down?

Hallo there.
I'm trying to use scale and chords to duplicate my input keys three octave down
But I want to filter out, or not to ear, octaves in between...

Filter notes in the chords player works only with the sequencer section if I'm correct...
I'm trying to get the desired result, which method to use, player, etc, is secondary.
I.e. has anyone an idea on how to achieve this midi trick???

If you want to transpose the notes 3 octaves down then using note echo with the right configuration should do the trick. Of course simply using the transpose function of the combinator might be even the easier way.

Transpose would be easy, I want to retain the input key. Thinking about it, maybe some split and later recombination...

If you're playing monophonic lines (melodies, basslines, one note at a time), you can use two free utilities. Ivy Harmonizer to transpose the note, and MoPol to merge the original with the transposed note. Ivy can pass the original thru as well as the transposed note CV.

And of course, as jam-s suggests, you can use a Combinator. Set up two instances of the instrument and transpose the notes going to one of them.

Oh! This looks fantastic for ease of use!
It turned out I didn't have Ivy, so I downloaded it, used in

combination with LoveOne Midi-Cv for recombination (best poly mangler in my opinion)
and voilà.
I had the feeling that Kron also could do it, albeit it's still so complicated to use all its functions
that I get overwhelmed most of the times...
Thanks for the look-up!! Delta sure is one interesting piece of kit!!


Anyway this is a patch using Ivy and Panda Tap, double Synth example.
It works with polyphony, just feed it a chord and see the magic happen!!

For replicating your input keys three octaves down while filtering out unwanted octaves,fnf I recommend using the Chords Player and Combinator method. This approach offers more flexibility in chord selection and manipulation while allowing you to precisely filter out specific octave ranges using the Reason Filter.

Easy peasy thanks to great 3rd party developers. The Selig Note View and the Tap Player are both free in the Reason Shop. Need the scales and chords on top of the combinator. Replace Algoritm with the device you wish to play. The Silig NoteView player directly above Algoritm is not needed. just placed it to show the result. The Midi out is needed below the 3rd Selig Note View 3 Oct down and the Tap Player. I only ran three cables from the second to the first tap player. but you will need as many cables as in the original cord. Message me if you do not understand. But it is simple.
