Really cool how he breaks them all down, you can learn a lot from that or even get ideas / get inspired. Not sure how I would go if I could create those sounds, I might spend a lot of time doing just that!

When I made me Prodigy influenced mini album recently I got to experiment with trying to imitate both typical sounds and writing style.
Here's a brief example of a couple of sounds I made.
I almost feel like going back and make a proper tune out of this.

Just played around a bit with the first patch explanation in the video and see where I could take that with Thor. Came up with the attached patch. Although my music is quite detached from the Prodigy style, I do like a lot of their music, and I might actually use this in some future track
Maybe someone can use this as a starting point, or as is

I love Android and Your Love. Perhaps my two favourite Prodigy songs.
This is great. What synths did you use in the examples?TritoneAddiction wrote: ↑21 Jul 2023When I made me Prodigy influenced mini album recently I got to experiment with trying to imitate both typical sounds and writing style.

You just need to sample a cheesy 70's advert and you are destined for the big time. Oh, unless someone else did it first...TritoneAddiction wrote: ↑21 Jul 2023When I made me Prodigy influenced mini album recently I got to experiment with trying to imitate both typical sounds and writing style.

If you're talking great Prodigy songs then Your Love has to be up there.
2 other favourites of mine are:-
and
The piano (in fact the strings and probably all the patches) were from the Roland U220 rackmount synth.
