Reason tut by Ryan Harlin

I can no longer find a youtube tutorial of Ryan Harlin .
In this tutorial he uses a song by allihoopa to synchronize the tempo of this song in Reason .
I think this song is by Faustine but I'm not quite sure.
He says something about " the click follows the song " in the reason sequencer .
Can someone give me the link of this tutorial because I'm crazy looking for it .
Thanks in advance .

Wasn't that the one that turned out to be recorded to a click/grid all along, just not totally 'tight' as a quantized sequence would have been? I remember finding a quicker way to do it, then realizing it was already recorded to a click - ha.

It think this has to do with the rather generic title of that video and the fact that alihoopa *ehem* discover didn't age well.

Which is a real shame, because it really was a pretty cool service/feature. It's something that I wish Reason Studios would revisit and keep maturing, in all honesty.

I've lost and found this tip so many times. It should be pinned somewhere. I've never actually tried it but when I've needed it, I couldn't find it

I like pie, but I couldn't find it so many times I deleted one of my MIDI controllers.
Wait!? Is this the Pizza Amore delivery line?

I’ve saved the link and lost that and found it more times than I can remember.

Then it´s possibly best to remember the technique

Seems like a pretty labour intensive technique. Imagine having to do this for an album's worth of material. Surely there must be software that can automate the process.

If you're thinking of tape warble, then
capstan or
RX would be an option, but they also won't automagically do the work for you.
But in general The warping algorithms in Ableton Live also do quite well in getting recorded material on beat automatically.

You have twelve choices of whether your first MIDI note should be on the zero,
or maybe not on the zero,
who can say?
