Using Thor Shaper effect as an FX

Can someone tell me what am I doing wrong? I am trying to use the Thor "Shaper" chain as an FX unit (I know how to use Thor's Chorus and delay as an FX).

I am using this tutorial (legendary James Bernard)

(time should be around 3:16) and I did everything he did in the video. Yet for some reason whenever I am passing audio by following his patch - it always goes very silent. Like my signal needs around +18dB after Thor to be at the same level before it passes Thor Shaper effect.

I think I am doing something wrong. Can someone share a patch of Thor Shaper FX configuration? Just a Thor patch, or older type Combinator configuration as I don't have R12 yet.

Could it be that you are lowering either the Gain for the Amp or somehow not keeping the AMP Env fully open? That tends to be the major issue people meet with this method.

And BTW the Shapers are nice so keep at it.
